The Story So Far...
Relatively new in the watch winding industry, Benson watch winders was founded in The Netherlands in 2010.
The mission was simple and uncomplicated; to produce watch winders with an attention for detail using only quality and fine materials. Modern design incorporating solid technology with multiple functionalities.
All the winders have been meticulously designed, developed and tested in The Netherlands by skilled craftsman. With this the brand has gathered a well earned reputation of providing outstanding products at very competitive price points.
The Watch Winders
At present, Benson produce a range of winder lines coming in the form of The Compact Series, Smart-Tech II Series, Black Series, Black Series Pro and the Swiss Series.
With such a wide range of products spanning a multitude of styles, capacity, budget and taste, there is definitely something for all collectors.
The Compact Single Series
The Benson Compact Single Series represents excellent value for money while not compomising on quality in any way. A slightly elongated cube houses an ultra quiet Japanese made motor that can operate clockwise, anti-clockwise and bidirectionally at increments of 300 turns per day between 600 and 2100, easily programmed using the stylish touch screen control panel on the back of the winder.
A solid case manufactured from wood and given 12 coats of lacquered paint offers a sturdy unit with a superior finish to that of many of it's contemporaries. The winder is accented with a choice of either chrome or gold hardware.
The watch holder incorporates a feature that allows it to compress to accept a range of wrist sizes, large or small with no fuss.
The Benson Compact range is available to accommodate one, two or three watches.
The Benson Black Series
With the Black Series, Benson have created an extremely good, solid product that will surely give any other brand a run for it's money! The Black Series are winding units with built in storage for extra watches. They are available to wind 2, 4, 6 & 8 watches with the storage capacity increasing also. The build qulaity is second to none - a robust case boasting subtle enhancements such as interior LED lighting, touch scree controls and a soft closing lid.
The interior is offered in the form of plush velvet material, debossed on the inside of the lid with the Benson logo. But it is the external finish that steals the show! The Black Series are available in a range of colours (depending on which size) including high gloss Black, Blue & White and two wood options being Macassar or the limited edition Walnut - both of which are staggering.
As with the Compact Series, the Black Series house a Japanese motor that runs ultra silent and can be programmed to cycle at 600, 900, 1200, 1500, 1800 or 2100 turns per day either clockwise, anticlockwise or bidirectional and run off a mains supply.
The Black Series Watch Box
The Black Series Watch Box, again represents unparalleled value for money from Benson. The designers have focused on producing an extremely luxurious and compact storage accessory for watches of all sizes. The sturdy wooden structure offers great protection while being covered in super soft leather available in a compact range of colours; Black, Blue, Brown and a printed Carbon Fibre.
The subtly, logo debossed lid is securely fastened with a stylish metal twisting lock mechanism.
Inside the Black Series Watch Box velvet covered wooden dividers house the plush cushions. The range is available to accommodate 3, 8 or 12 pieces.
