A classic rectangular watch for women, the Hampton 10472 wristwatch features a pure silver-coloured dial with the elegance of gilt sword-shaped hands and gilt Arabic numerals at 6 and 12 o’clock. The sapphire crystal is anti-scratch and anti-glare. It comes with a light brown calfskin strap with beige stitching.
Overview
‘Elegant and discreet’ would sum up the 10472 Hampton for Ladies. The polished stainless steel case measures 35mm x 22mm and just 7mm thick giving it an understated yet unique look that can fulfil the role of many occasions. The Hampton takes its inspiration from the Art Deco period of the 1920s and ‘30s, the case represents the strong influence with it’s straight edges, high polish and gentle blended curves. The satin silver dial is highlighted with gilt indices almost ‘bursting’ from the centre and an Arabic 6 & 12. The dial is framed by a subtle grey seconds track and balanced out nicely with the Baume & Mercier, Geneve wording just below 12 o’clock.
Viewed from the side the crown for setting the time is signed with the Baume and Mercier ‘Phi’ logo. A soft tan calfskin strap, highlighted with beige stitching ensures comfortable and durable wearing, secured with a traditional signed pin buckle completing the look.
The 10472 is water resistant to 5 ATM (approx. 50m) and comes with a standard manufacturers warranty of 2 years.
Personalisation
Versatility is key in this day and age. At 1010 Boutique we carry a range of straps for all Baume and Mercier timepieces in a variety of lengths. We recommend changing your straps regularly – perhaps simply for something different, maybe to suit your mood or a special occasion, but in doing so, it is possible to create a completely different look and feel of your wristwatch.
